Effective Ways To Advertising Your Home Business

Here are some basics techniques to get you started:

Looking for Sites to Place Your Ad

There are many advertising directories and resources to help you find a place to advertise. Some examples are ADEngage, AdBuyer, and Clicksor. But, let’s look at one of my favorite sites, Leadtail.com.

The first step on their home page is to browse on your niche to find advertising opportunities for your specific audience. Let’s use the example “online business”.

When you search the site for that keyword phrase, you get the nineteen pages of results. Each page lists:

* Company name
* The price of their method (CPC, monthly, etc.)
* The number of monthly visitors
* Minimum recommended for

Choose one of the publications of interest to your audience, and budget, and then click to their website. I will be using Business.com because it has:

* CPC or cost per click pricing method
* 40 million visitors (huge!)
* And only $ 250 as suggested spending

Once you get to the company’s web site, you are looking for a link to their ad pages. He will say the Ad Advertise with Us Advertise with Business.com, etc.

Not all sites are equal. Some will have the appropriate level of advertising on them. Some will not. Often you have to contact a salesperson to know the best option for your budget and advertising goals.

Many of them have self-serve platforms where you do not need to speak with a rep. This site will have a form where you set a budget, put in your ad copy, and add the tracking code. Do your ads, photo ads and URLs are ready before you start. Often there is an option for placing banner ads, or ads business directory, too.

Create Your Ad

You need to make sure you use keywords Strong words that people will seek to find your business, or advertising. First, find the Google AdWords, and their tools ‘KeywordsToolExternal’.

Examples: “the online business from home”. Hit search and you’ll see a large selection of keyword phrases. This shows the number of people looking for a specific term. High number means high traffic.

Intelligent Marketing Techniques That Are Needed

When you run your own business, there are a few things you need to consider such as attracting new customers, encouraging existing customers to buy again, promoting word of mouth marketing, and increasing sales. To some business owners, this would be a tough job. They assume that in order to achieve all this, they need to spend a lot of money. The truth is there is a simple and inexpensive way to achieve all this, and that is through two simple words: Thank you.

Thank you is actually a powerful form of marketing. Sadly, a lot of business owners don’t realize the importance of this tool. Most business owners get caught up in trying to use fancy and elaborate marketing tools to reach out to their target customers when all they need is a simple thank you. If you are new in business or looking for the best way to keep your customers loyal to you, then what you simply need to do is send your customers thank you cards. If you let your customers know that appreciate them, they will most likely come back again. Here are simple steps to help you do thank you marketing:

# 1. In creating your thank you card or note, make sure to personally address your customer. Use ‘Dear Mr./Miss’ at the beginning of your note. This will show your customers that you personally know them and make it look like your gratitude is genuine.

# 2. As much as possible, hand write your message. Although a computerized message is thoughtful, it lacks personal connection that is felt in hand written notes. Even if this may take extra time, at least you showed your customers that you took the time and effort to create a special message for them. They will surely feel that you are sincere in your effort

# 3. Aside from sending your thank you card printing, it is important that you personally say you thank you to your customers. After a sale, smile and thank your customer. Then follow up with a card or note that will show them that you truly value them.

# 4. Never put a sales pitch in your cards. Remember that you are only aiming to build relationship with your customers and not to encourage them to buy. If you have new products or services that you want to promote to them, use another marketing medium. Don’t insert it in your thank you note; otherwise, your customers will toss away your card without even reading it

Great advertising is not always better for your Business

If we follow the news ad then you will see that more major advertisers are looking for a small advertising agency to handle their campaigns.

Is it because they feel bad? Is it because they’re cheaper? Or because they see the creative talent of smaller agencies? Let’s take a brief look at why this is happening and how this is good for consumers and advertisers. When I use the term smaller does not mean that it’s a one man show, but they are not part of the “BIG 6″. Now by saying that allowing continued, small agencies have the hunger to succeed, they have a need to be customer service oriented, they have a desire to become more creative without the fear of disappointing upper management. Take these points into account and you have an institution that will be tenacious and with the number one destination of their clients to show results.

At New Age Media Concepts, we believe that major advertisers deserve better results from their campaigns, make no mistake there is a big campaign was launched but it will be the new creative minds to develop the next memorable moment in advertising history? If advertisers like General Motors, Ford, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Coca-Cola, Pepsico, Microsoft, Burger King, Toyota, Home Depot, Wendy’s, ConAgra Foods, Wal-Mart Stores, American Express, Colgate Palmolive, Intel and many others seek agents beyond what they are accustomed to working with and looking towards connecting with their consumers in a big way, then they must look beyond the bricks and bring a creative team who can help them do that. Consumers today are not stupid and in this age of reality television and the surprise factor mentality, advertisers need to step up to the plate and shed their skin to be able to reach the new age consumers, people who are their core audience, people who will have brand loyalty
